Underwater Songs.
‘Underwater songs’ is a series of works narrating the ephemeral, fluctuating nature of bodies of water. The reflection depicts the sensory worlds above and below the surface forming an unified and ever changing composition. For me the mirroring water is a source of calm, however the fickle character of it brings a sense of suspense which I strived to capture in the paintings.
Over the course of building this collection, I have found that water has assumed the role of a dynamic and volatile protagonist.
