IN THE SILENCE OF THE GAZE. Gallery Flora, Dubrovnik, Croatia.
... Natasha, in the Underwater Poems series, starts from the motif of water as a medium that unites stability and impermanence. In her paintings, the reflection of the surface becomes the central element of the composition, a space where light and color are constantly changing. She explores the visual and emotional effects of water—its ambiguity and fluidity. The surface of the water simultaneously separates and connects the worlds above and below, creating a painterly dynamic that is never completely still. For the artist, water has a dual role: it brings a sense of calm, but also of uncertainty. It is precisely this changeability that becomes the main motif of her work—the attempt to capture a moment that cannot be held onto. Her painterly approach is soft, focused on vibrant colors and contrasts of light, creating the impression of continuous movement...

Echo of Reflections: Melodies of the Deep. Galerija120, Janjina, Croatia.
Underwater Songs is a series of paintings that explores the encounter of several coexisting realms layered across the surface of the canvas. These realms include the deep sea — dark and hidden; the underwater space — absorbing and reflective; the water surface — where sky and landscape reflections intertwine; and the world above water. These layers create a multidimensional space where reality becomes fluid, dissolving between what exists and what doesn’t — simultaneously. In these works, water is not merely a natural element but a metaphor for the inner world. Each wave and current becomes an expression of invisible emotion. The subtle transitions of light and shadow, the shifting tones and forms, create a visual rhythm — almost musical — resonating in silence. Through this series, I seek to convey a sense of calm permeated by the inevitable movement of the inner self. Underwater Songs invites viewers into a quiet, meditative space — one where perception is both personal and universal, grounded and intangible.

Salon D'Automne 2024, 120th edition, La Grande Halle de La Villette, Paris, France
The Salon d’Automne was created in 1903, in Paris, thanks to the goodwill of several artists fighting against a powerfull academicism that existed at that time. Over the last 100 years, its exhibitors have been witnesses of the emergence of the most important artistic movements of the century including : Fauvism, Surrealism, Cubism, Abstract art, New Figuration and Singular Art.
The exhibition of the Salon d’Automne is presented in sections, rigorously selected and organized for a better reading of the works. Besides the classifications by disciplines (Engraving, Sculpture, Drawing, Photography, Digital Art, Video, Architecture, Environmental Art, Artists’ Books), there are several sections for Painting, defined by their pictorial tendencies.
